  1. Seek first to understand and then to be understood

  36. Under-promise and over-deliver
  37. Up-skill as a coach or a speaker because qualifications (business skills) count less as your career progresses. ‘Who’ you are matters most
  38. Know your values and stick by them
  39. Remember that there is no right and wrong, just differences
  40. Don’t allow yourself to be bullied or undermined
  41. A true leader wants to learn ..always
  42. Remember that people are doing the best that they can with the resources they have
  43. Write a book
  44. Craft and practise your elevator pitch

  46. Make sure that your personal brand is consistent  across all social media
  47. Get coaching. Always
